Why not try Tandem Paragliding with Vertical Limits. You will be in the safe hands of Dean Straker, the 2007 and 2009 NZ XC Paragliding champion. We offer tandem flights off our main site, Barnicoat. We take off at 600m and can climb out above the top for the trip of a lifetime with fantastic views of Tasman Bay and beyond.

Who can Fly?

No previous experience is required. We give you a detailed pre-flight briefing and explain everything you need to know before we take off. A basic level of fitness is required.

What Do I Need to Wear?

You'll need sensible footwear, a warm jacket, sunglasses, sunblock and water.

How Long do I get I the Air?

A flight lasts around 20 mins but if we get good thermal conditions it can last even longer.

Do I need Transport?

We can pick up from anywhere in the Nelson Area or we can arrange to meet at the Barnicoat landing site.

What Qualifications do you need to Fly Tandems?

Pilots who fly tandems in NZ need to have the PP2 qualification from the NZHGPA and be current members of the association. All of our pilots are fully qualified tandem pilots.

How Much does it cost?

The price for a tandem is $150.
