Dean Straker, BA (Hons) Owner/Managing Director

Dean has won the NZ XC paragliding championship 2009, to go with his previous 2007 title.

Dean is a highly experienced climber and instructor. NZOIA Rock 1, MLTB SPA, ESCC climbing instructor, Mt Bike Leader, Mountain 1st Aid, BCU 4* kayak and level 2 coach, NZHGPA PG3 and Assistant Paragliding Instructor, Commercial Tandem Paraglider Pilot NZHGPA PP2, (Mountain Instructor trained. Dean has climbed and worked all over the world including the UK, French Alps, Pyrenees, USA, Australia and New Zealand.

Dean spends most of his spare time climbing, paragliding, playing jazz guitar or performing with the Nelson Ukulele Orchestra.
